Distractibility Resistance - The Distractibility Resistance Battery includes 3 subtests which measure the examinee's visual and auditory memory in the presence of auditory and visual distracters. The distractions were designed to simulate those typically encountered in daily life. It requires a greater degree of attention, concentration, and freedom from distractibility than the pure Visual Memory and Auditory Memory subtests. The results of these subtests incorporate both ipsative as well as normative scoring processes.
