Auditory Memory - In this subtest, the examinee is required to listen to a series of digits which increases in difficulty as the subtest progresses. When the series is completed, numerals 1-9 appear on the screen. The examinee then clicks on the numbers in the order they were said.
The Auditory Memory subtest assesses short-term auditory memory as well as rote memory. Factors that influence performance on this subtest include concentration, attention, and freedom from distractibility.
